Everton captain Seamus Coleman has singled out two surprise dressing room leaders.

The Republic of Ireland international was dropped to the bench for the 1-1 draw away to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Alongside him on the bench was Allan, and the Brazilian is someone Coleman believes holds all the leadership qualities necessary - with Dominic Calvert-Lewin also developing similar traits.

The defender told evertonfc.com : "Allan is a great leader, someone who helps me along as much as he can.

"His English is improving every week and he has excellent leadership qualities.

"And Dominic Calvert-Lewin is so important for us and starting to show real leadership qualities."
