Everton boss Marco Silva insists Bernard is capable of handling the Premier League's physical demands.

Silva is delighted with what he's seen from the former Shakhtar Donetsk whiz.

"People talk about the size of Bernard but the most important thing is he has quality," he told evertontv.

“Also [when we sign a player], it depends if they can fit it into our style of play.

“If you have an idea to use long balls and always play direct football, then that will not suit Bernard.

“But if you have quality in your game, and you want to play good football, then Bernard can give us very good things."
