Everton boss Silva admits Niasse and Martina out of his plans

Everton boss Marco Silva admits Oumar Niasse and Cuco Martina are out of his first team plans.

An injury scuppered Martina's hopes of a deadline day move away, while Niasse also didn't land a move before the market shut.

Silva told Liverpool Echo: “They have known my plans since I joined.

“Unfortunately, Martina had the injury. We were looking to something for his future but he had an injury during an under-23s training session.

“Like you say, Oumar was more with me but in some sessions not participating in all of the sessions because in my mind were the players for the matches.

“He understood what were my plans and unfortunately for him and us we didn't find the right move for him but Oumar is a professional, he is here, he knows what my plans. He and Martina have known everything since the first day of pre-season."
