Everton boss Moyes targets younger players in market

Everton boss Dave Moyes admits they're targeting younger players in the transfer market.

He cites the recent first-team emergence of Dan Gosling to illustrate his point.

He told evertonTV: "We've had to try and sign the boys a bit younger. Dan we brought in at 17 and I think we paid around £1 million.

"We paid £1.5 million for Tim Cahill who was an established Millwall player, but that was six years ago. So the value has changed, the prices you pay has changed, but hopefully in time the money that we paid for Dan Gosling will look good value."
