Everton boss David Moyes is already pencilling in Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford for his preseason Australia tour.

The Daily Express says Everton have prepared a four-year deal for Beckford, 26, who scored 31 goals last season as Leeds won promotion to the Championship.

Moyes has a proven track record of signing talent from the lower leagues and Beckford, who has rejected an offer of a new contract at Elland Road, will accompany Everton on a pre-season tour to Australia.
