Everton boss Robert Martinez has admitted interest in Anderlecht whizkid David Henen.

The Daily Mal says Martinez confirmed his interest in the youngster following Everton's 2-2 draw with Tranmere on Tuesday night.

The 18-year-old was wanted by Arsenal and Manchester United but Martinez has moved swiftly to bring in the talented teenager.

Henen has asked to wear the No 39 shirt as he is a fan of Nicolas Anelka.
