Everton boss Marco Silva wants his players to turn on the style against FA Cup opponents Lincoln City.
Silva insists that fruitful period from late-September should act as a reference for his side as they prepare for Saturday's FA Cup third round tie with Lincoln City.
And the manager is eager to reward the Evertonians who will pack Goodison Park – four days after the New Year's Day sell-out against Leicester City – with a spot in round four of the competition.
“I want them to play with freedom, enjoyment and confidence," Silva told evertontv.
“In this way, we can show our quality.
“If it is something we did not achieve in the past, okay, I will tell you, 'We will try to find it'.
“But it is something we already did as a squad. We had very, very good performances in some moments and achieved good results in those moments.
“The main thing in football is always the result. But if you perform well you are closer to achieving good results.
“It is something we already did, and I told them it is important to play with freedom and confidence and enjoy what we are doing, always giving 100 per cent."
