Everton boss Marco Silva will seek a striker signing in January.
And Eintracht Frankfurt centre-forward Goncalo Paciencia has popped up on the Toffees radar, says Goal.
The Portuguese moved in 2018 from FC Porto to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he found himself behind the star trio of Luka Jovic, Sébastian Haller and Ante Rebic. All three left the Hesse in the summer.
Paciencia seized the opportunity and has featured in all 23 competitive games this season, scoring nine goals and producing three assists.
Silva is now watching his countryman closely, with the 25 year-old scoring his first goal for Portugal in last week's 6-0 trouncing of Euros qualifying opponents Lithuania.
