Everton manager Marco Silva says he is not planning wholesale changes for their upcoming Carabao Cup clash.
The Blues are set to face Southampton in the competition on Tuesday.
While other teams may use it as a chance to bed in youngsters and reserve players, Silva wants to win the tournament.
He said to the Daily Star: "I don't see these types of games as a game to change everything.
"Since the first Premier League match, I have said that it is not good for us to be always changing something in our squad.
"In the last two or three games we have repeated our backline - in the seven games we played we have only been able to do that two times because of red cards, injuries and my decisions in some moments.
"It's important we start to have some consistency in our starting line-up, not because I don't believe in them as everyone is working hard to achieve what they want to which is to play in our team.
"We respect the competition and have ambitions in the competition. It's never good when you change many players from one match to another.
"We will see what will be my decision.
"Of course, some of the players are working hard and showing me they want to play."
