Everton boss Marco Silva has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association after confronting the referee following his side's dramatic defeat at Newcastle on Saturday.
The Toffees were two goals up at half time but were left stunned when the hosts mounted a superb second-half comeback and ultimately secured a morale-boosting 3-2 win.
Silva, however, was left furious with the match officials at the end of the game, and took to the St James' Park pitch to confront referee Lee Mason and his assistants.
An FA statement read: "Marco Silva has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 following the Premier League game against Newcastle United on Saturday [09 March 2019].
"It is alleged the Everton manager's behaviour on the field of play at the end of the fixture amounts to improper conduct.
"He has until 18:00 on Thursday [14 March 2019] to respond to the charge."
