Everton boss Rafa Benitez refused to consider Lucas Digne for selection ahead of defeat to Brighton.

The Frenchman remained on the bench for the 3-2 loss.

To a specific question at the end of the match, Benitez replied: "Why did I leave him out? Because he is not focused on the team."

Digne is expected to be on the move in the coming days from Goodison Park.

Newcastle, Chelsea and Inter Milan are all interested in the left-back.
