Everton boss Rafa Benitez is eager to continue buying this month.
Fullbacks Vitaliy Mykolenko and Nathan Patterson have already arrived.
Benitez today was asked about more signings this month and said: "We are open to good players, who are available, if they can improve the squad.
"We are not specifically focused on this or that. We have some ideas. If we can find something that is interesting we will try to do it.
On rumours linking Newcastle's Sean Longstaff to the club, he adds: "I'm quite focused on the games, other people are focused on the names. We have different options and names but this window is so complicated, you never know."
Significantly, Benitez also dismisses stories that Jean-Philippe Gbamin has been told he can find a new club.
