Everton boss Rafa Benitez was pleased with Vitaliy Mykolenko's debut for their FA Cup win at Hull City.

The Ukraine fullback only arrived from Dynamo Kyiv last week.

Benitez enthused: "Vitaly didn't train for 15 days, but he was able to fully play the FA Cup, which turned out to be very intense.

"Nice to see that. In the end, Mikolenko had minor cramps, but it was great to see his mentality and endurance.

"I think he did a pretty good job for the debut game."
