Everton boss Ancelotti: Napoli and I now both better off

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti feels his split from Napoli was the right decision for all concerned.

Ancelotti was sacked by Napoli earlier this season before he popped up on Merseyside to replace Marco Silva.

He told Radio Anch'io Sport: "Things are going well. I did not need to be regenerated, I was also well in Naples.

"In football you're judged by the results and they were not up to the team. The decision was made in agreement and it is it was the right one, I'm better and Napoli is better.

"I don't want to talk about my adventure in blue."

Ancelotti also defended the work of Maurizio Sarri at Juventus.

He added: "He is doing his job, he is first in the league and now he will start the Champions League again, where it is difficult to establish a favourite. I think it is difficult to ask Sarri for more."
