Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has likened his current job to his previous task of rebuilding AC Milan.
Ancelotti believes Everton are in a good position - and that reminds him in a way of the job he did at Milan, when he took over a side that was out of the European places, had struggled badly in recent seasons, but which went on to win the Champions League within 18 months of his arrival.
“When I went to Milan the moment was not good but they had ambition, the history and tradition to be at the top and slowly, slowly we be there," he said, with a reference to Everton's ambition and history.
“And honestly at Milan we did it quickly. We won the Champions League in the second year. I arrived in November and the year after we won it. depends, I think we we don't have to put a line (on Everton), we improve, the idea is to improve."
