Everton boss Carlos Ancelotti feels Tottenham can be title contenders this season.

Everton are top of the table going into today's derby against Liverpool.

And Ancelotti remarked: "Watch out for Tottenham.

"With the market they grew and then there is the legendary (Jose) Mourinho. He's a great."

On the influence of James Rodriguez on their early season success, Ancelotti added: "I'm surprised.

"He hadn't played since February and it was legitimate to expect some difficulties but the enthusiasm and talent were a formidable boost."
