Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti says he's in regular contact with the club's financial back Farhad Moshiri.

Everton's majority shareholder celebrated his fifth year at the club this weekend and Ancelotti has opened up on his relationship with the billionaire.

"I have a good relationship with him," Ancelotti says, smiling.

"We talk a lot.

"Of course with this pandemic we didn't have the possibility to meet each other but on the phone, and we don't talk every day, we talk before and after games.

"He is really involved and he wants to know what is happening here at Finch Farm.

"He is really focused, really passionate and in this moment he is really happy. He really hopes that, as we said at the start of the season, we can reach our position.

"He is also really involved in the new stadium and on Tuesday he received good news on this, so everything is ok.

"He is really kind with us, with me and the players, and so at the moment everything is ok."
