And Ancelotti's favouritism is firming, with Antonio Conte's demands proving too rich and PSG refusing to release Mauricio Pochettino from his deal.

Ancelotti has a contract with Everton to 2024, though it's regarded as a formality to gain a release should Real make an offer.
