Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has rubbished claims he shattered Yerry Mina's confidence by dropping him for the game with Manchester United.
Colombian media savaged the team's performance with Mina heavily criticised but some of the blame was put at the door of Ancelotti.
“No, I don't think he was affected by this," Ancelotti said.
"It was not a good game. The character of Yerry is strong, he is a strong character.
"Unfortunately sometimes he makes mistakes, as all of the players do. But he is still confident and has no problem to play."
