Everton boss Ancelotti confirms plans to keep hold of Roma keeper Olsen

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed plans to keep hold of on-loan Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

Olsen, 30, has impressed Ancelotti since he signed a season-long deal from Roma in October.

He was notably selected for their Carabao Cup quarter-final against Manchester United - the biggest game of Everton's season so far.

"We are pleased to have him here," Ancelotti said ahead of the clash with West Ham.

"He is a goalkeeper with experience so I think we are going to talk with him and his agent to find a solution for him to be here permanently. It can be for January or in June.

"The games that he played he did well. He was comfortable, he was calm, he was quiet. I think he gives good support to Jordan (Pickford) also."
