Everton beginning to hit top form declares Walcott

Everton winger Theo Walcott believes his side are on the up in the Premier League.

While the Blues had a mixed start to the season, they have started to show more consistency in recent games.

They overcame a tough Leicester side to win 2-1 away from home on Saturday.

Walcott enjoyed the game, as he started alongside Richarlison, Berard and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

"Looking back at the game, we did play some fantastic stuff," said Walcott to the club's official website.

"We worked really hard coming into the match after the disappointment [against Southampton] earlier in the week. So to come back and get the three points was important.

"We're on 12 points now going into the international break - we're on the way up. It's nice to be in a winning team and I'm very pleased with the football we played."
