Everton attracting Qatari investment

Everton are being linked with fresh outside investment.

The Daily Mail says rumours persist that the Qatar Investment Authority, armed with £40billion of assets, are exploring a possible takeover at the end of the season.

Blues boss David Moyes said: "We have put time and effort into the likes of Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines and the way they have developed for us is more important than any amount of money. We are building something here and I want it to continue.

"I would also hope that what we are doing will make us more attractive to potential investors."
