Everton attacker Theo Walcott retains hope of an England recall.

Walcott was ignored by England coach Gareth Southgate for last summer's World Cup squad.

He said: “Obviously, Gareth has said in the past that it's all about performances and that he will choose players based on performances.

"I'm genuinely not thinking about England, I'm thinking about myself and what I can do for Everton.

"But who wouldn't want to play for England?"
