Everton attacker Anthony Gordon insists they're capable of clinching European qualification.
Gordon says that, even though the Blues are 15th and nine points adrift of seventh-placed Manchester United, they can still fight for a European place.
“We've had a really tough patch of fixtures against a lot of the top teams," said Gordon to evertonfc.com.
“Now we have a couple of games against sides who are lower down in the table at the moment but it's definitely true that there are no easy games. It's up to us to step up, go out there and get the points.
“I'm optimistic and I'm ambitious. I think Everton should be competing in Europe and I don't think that's off the cards this season. We have the quality in the squad and the staff so it's up to us as players to go out there and perform.
“The manager's record speaks for itself and he's come here to win more. I'd love to be part of a winning team here.
“It's been too long since this club won silverware and it'd be incredible to be part of the next team to do that. That has to be the aim."
