Birmingham City will challenge Everton to the signature of Junior Sambia, according to The Sun.
New Blues manager Harry Redknapp is understood to be keen on the 20-year old defensive midfielder.
Sambia, who currently plays for Chamois Niortais in Ligue 2, starred in the French second tier this past season.
