Everton are reportedly winning the race to sign William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Ronald Koeman's Toffees are ahead of Chelsea in the chase to land the midfielder from the Portuguese giants.
It is believed that Everton are determined to sign the Portugal international, who is valued at £30million, and will do everything in their power to beat Chelsea to his signature.
The Premier League pair are also locked in a battle for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly as new Toffees majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri looks to flex his financial muscle in the summer transfer window.
