Brad Evans is thrilled about his call up to the U.S. national team.

Never one to show his emotions, Evans spoke about his surprise about suiting up for the United States for the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

"It's definitely a surprise, for sure," Evans said.

"You see the schedule come out months and months ago and you're kind of excited. You expect some of the guys on the roster can get you some tickets.

"Maybe I'll be getting some guys some tickets as well."
