Manchester United defender Jonny Evans insists they will recover from last week's defeat at Liverpool.

After helping United defeat Barnsley in the Carling Cup on Wednesday, Evans wants more of the same on Saturday when Blackburn visit Old Trafford.

He said: "We went to Anfield last season and lost, yet went on to win the league.

"While Liverpool deserved to win at the weekend, we all know it is a long season.

"It is going to be a good game on Saturday, and a chance for us to get back on track in the league after beating Barnsley in the cup. That's what we aim to do."
