Eusebio Sacristan and Girona have parted ways after their relegation.

The 55-year-old had a further year left on his contract, but he has agreed to waive this.

"Eusebio Sacristan will not lead the first team of Girona FC next season," Girona's statement confirmed.

"The coach has made his position available to the club and has waived the [remaining] year of his contract that he had signed."
