Euro2016: Swansea’s Fabianski to again deputise for Arsenal keeper Szczesny with Poland

Wojciech Szczesny will miss Poland's final group stage match at Euro2016.

The Arsenal goalkeeper, who spent last season on loan with AS Roma, missed the 0-0 draw with Germany last week due to a thigh injury and is set to sit out the Group C meeting with Ukraine in Marseille on Tuesday.

Swansea City's Lukasz Fabianski stepped in with aplomb for the Germany match after Szczesny kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 win over Northern Ireland and will make the gloves again for Adam Nawalka's side.

"Wojciech is not ready for the game. All the other players are fit," said Nawalka.

"Ukraine is a tough rival and they have individual players with high skill levels so we need to be very well prepared both emotionally and tactically.

"I don't want to speculate whether we will finish top of the group or not. We want to win every game.

"We will go for three points but we know how dangerous Ukraine can be. We want to show Ukraine respect by preparing properly for this game."

Poland currently sit second in their group with points, behind Germany only on goal difference, one point clear of Northern Ireland and well ahead of Ukraine.
