Belgium national team manager Marc Wilmots praised Eden Hazard for his increasing role as Red Devils captain.
The 25-year-old Chelsea star took the armband from the injured Vincent Kompany prior to Euro2016 and after a slow start, is now growing into the role with aplomb.
Hazard was the architect for Belgium's 4-0 win over Hungary in the Round of 16 and his efforts were certainly not lost on Wilmots who feels he is becoming more at ease with the leadership job.
"There were a lot of people who were absolutely amazed when I gave the captain's armband to Eden, but you have to let this little man grow," he said.
"He doesn't say a lot, but when he does speak, everyone listens to him because we all respect his quality and what he has done in his career up to now.
"He is a different type of captain to Kompany but he is a good guy for the team and he leads by example, by the way he plays football. It's really important."
