Manchester City forward Kelvin Etuhu signed a new contract on Friday that will keep him with the club until 2010.
The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut against Wigan Athletic in December and scored his first senior goal in the 4-2 win over Bolton Wanderers last Saturday.
City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson told the club's Web site (www.mcfc.co.uk), "We are very happy. It's one more young, talented player and we'll see how good he can be."
Etuhu said, "I'm very happy to be at a club that's going forward. I was hoping that a new contract would come and I'm delighted that it's arrived."
