Former Inter Milan star Samuel Eto'o is backing his former club to win the Scudetto this season.

Eto'o feels the arrival of coach Antonio Conte has made the difference for the Nerazzurri.

“Inter will win the Scudetto," Eto'o told Sky Sport Italia.

“Conte really has not changed. He is the same coach we saw at Juventus or Chelsea, no more and no less, that is his idea of football.

"I am glad, because after so many highs and lows, at this moment Inter are getting the respect they deserve again."

Eto'o was asked if he ever had the opportunity to come back to Inter and confirmed there were some discussions.

“Just before I went to Sampdoria, I did ask Inter, but I knew it was unlikely. I would've still been in a condition to play, but it didn't annoy me."
