Inter Milan star Samuel Eto'o is set to reject a new approach from Manchester City.
Corriere dello Sport says Inter President Massimo Moratti met with Eto'o at his office on Friday.
The meeting lasted 30 minutes and appeared to pave the way for a contract renewal rather than a parting of the ways.
The former Barcelona star fits in well with Gian Piero Gasperini's 3-4-3 system, so could add another year to his current deal.
