Stoke City winger Matthew Etherington is preparing for his last game at the Brit.

Etherington is waving farewell to both the club and the season as he packs his bags after five-and-a-half years of simply sterling service for the Potters.

"It is a little bit weird," the 32-year-old told The Sentinel, "and sad to be saying goodbye to a lot of players who have been here all my time, or nearly all my time, at Stoke.

"It's been a remarkable turnaround really for me to when I first joined the club to where I am now, in my personal life especially, so I will always remember my time here."
