Mauro Esposito insists he wants to stay at Roma.

The midfielder is in co-ownership with Cagliari and said: "I still haven't spoken to the club and this isn't the time because we are playing for important objectives and the priority is to finish the season well.

"I expected to play more, but nobody is guaranteed a place. I am happy to be a part of such a big team and I would like to stay here.

"But if I were to continue playing so little then I would have to talk to the club about it."
