Espanyol are eyeing Sevilla midfielder Suso as one of four signings planned for January.

They have made an approach to sign the former Liverpool player on loan until the end of the season and negotiations are continuing.

Sevilla need to remodel their squad for coach Jorge Sampaoli and Suso is one of the players they are willing to let go in the right circumstances.

Due to injuries, Suso has lost his place in the Sevilla team. He would like to continue if possible but is opening to up to a move in search of regular football.

The main problem is his salary. Cadiz and Almeria are also following the situation but cannot afford his wages.
