Espanyol coach Luis Garcia was left disappointed after defeat to Barcelona.

Barca won 4-2 at Espanyol to confirm their title triumph.

Garcia said: "It's a very tough defeat, now we have to think about moving on. I'm the one most responsible for this result.

"We're the same distance from safety as a day ago, it's still possible.

"Barcelona has arrived here with force. We had prepared the game so that they didn't hit us with through balls, instead they surprised us with crosses from outside. If we defend like this it's difficult. In the second half, when we exposed ourselves the most, it was the moment we defended best. Today we had no alternatives.

"The most important thing is that the team is alive. I still believe it is possible. The only thing I want is to go to training tomorrow and improve my players."
