Esbjerg chief Pedersen: Man Utd following Hradecky for some time

Esbjerg manager Ove Pedersen says Manchester United have been following young goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky for some time.

The Finn has joined United for trials this week.

"He is," says Pedersen, "one among several candidates for the position the Red Devils are now seeking to strengthen.

"Manchester United have approached us because they wanted to see him in trials first. They watched him in his second match against Silkeborg last season and were very impressed, and he is among 4-5 players they are looking at.

"We are not going to lose him right away, but now he gets the opportunity to show what he can do."
