Real Madrid's big clash with Barcelona is looming as a make-or-break game for coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Marca says Pellegrini could be shown the door if Real fail to put up a good fight against the Treble champs.

Real president Florentino Perez maintains that Pellegrini should be given the full season - at least - to prove his worth. But a meltdown at the Nou Camp could force a dramatic change in thinking.

Michael Laudrup, Luis Aragones, Sven Goran Eriksson and Roberto Mancini have all been mentioned as potential replacements for Pellegrini.
