Released Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen is currently in Switzerland preparing to resume his career.

The Denmark international has terminated his contract with Inter by mutual consent as athletes using heart aids cannot compete in Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says the former Tottenham star has ambitions to resume his career and favours a return to England or Holland over the New Year.

In Switzerland, Eriksen is using the facilities of FC Chiasso and was training on their pitches this week.
