Christian Eriksen's new contract talks with Tottenham are at a deadlock.

The Times says Eriksen's contract talks with Tottenham have reached such an impasse that he is likely to go into the final year of his current deal without an agreement being reached.

The Danish midfielder is currently earning £70,000 a week, but this is well below the new deals signed by Harry Kane and Dele Alli recently.

And his demands are proving too steep for Spurs to consider as negotiations reach stalemate.
