Christian Eriksen and Inter Milan are set to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 on the pitch as Denmark played Finland.
He received life-saving treatment on the pitch at Copenhagen's Parken Stadium before being taken to a nearby hospital, where he was fitted with an ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator).
Eriksen is still contracted to Inter Milan but La Gazzetta della Sport says the contract could be terminated soon as a result of the cardiac arrest.
Rules in Italy state that people with a defibrillator like Eriksen has are not allowed to play contact sport. But the 29-year-old could theoretically continue his career in another country, with different rules.
Eriksen has been training with Odense for the past fortnight.
