Huddersfield Town fullback Erik Durm is open to a return to Germany.
The former Borussia Dortmund defender is considering his options after the Terriers' relegation.
"I want to go back home, to the Bundesliga. Although I can think of two or three other options," Durm told Kicker, "if something was going to happen with good clubs in Spain or Italy, that would be conceivable. But the priority is the Bundesliga.
"I do not know yet where to play. The story was settled after I told Huddersfield that I did not want to play in the second league."
Schalke 04 and his former coach David Wagner have showed interest in the 27-year-old.
And Durm says: "Dave was my biggest supporter, I have a great relationship with him. There were also talks, I can say that."
