Manchester City plan to bring through Eric Garcia next season after Vincent Kompany's departure was announced today.

The club announced that Kompany played his last game for the club in Saturday's 6-0 trouncing of Watford in the FA Cup final.

And now Pep Guardiola will look to fill the massive void left by the 33-year-old Belgian, who leaves after 11 years of service.

The Daily Mail says City have Garcia waiting in the wings. The Spanish 18-year-old joined the club from Barcelona in 2017 and made his first competitive start for City in the League Cup match against Leicester in December 2018.
