Eric Bailly ready to seek Man Utd transfer

Eric Bailly is ready to seek a transfer from Manchester United.

The Ivory Coast defender doesn't see a future for himself under United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, reports the Manchester Evening News via Fussball Transfers.

Bailly only penned new terms in April to 2024, but he's fed-up with his situation.

He has only made one appearance so far this season in the Carabao Cup defeat at home to West Ham United.

Bailly was left on the bench in defeat at Leicester City on Saturday.

Now 27 years old, Bailly is in his fifth year with United, having become former manager Jose Mourinho's first signing when arriving from Villarreal. He's endured an injury-plagued time during Solskjaer's period in charge. However, he did make the Europa League final last season, where he suffered defeat to former club Villarreal.

His current deal to 2024 includes a 12 month option.
