Ephraim determined to grab new QPR chance

Hogan Ephraim is determined to grab his second chance at QPR handed to him by manager Mark Hughes.

Hughes gave the midfielder a new deal after he had been left out of the Rs Premier League squad by predecessor Neil Warnock.

Ephraim insists he's desperate to make it third time lucky as he bids to prove himself in the top flight.

He told the Fulham Chronicle: "My aim is to make the 25-man squad this time.

"It was a great season for the club, capped by clinching survival on the final day at Man City.

"I want to play my part and believe I can perform well during pre-season and force my way in.

"I know it's up to me to prove it. I've got to make sure I'm looking sharp and take any chances that come my way.

"The gaffer's shown faith in me by giving me a new contract now I want to try and repay him."
