Enrique plans to force his way into Liverpool side after failed West Brom move

Jose Enrique insists he is happy termini at Liverpool and fight of this place in the starting line-up.

The Spanish left-back was reported to be close to joining West Bromwich Albion earlier on deadline day but took to social media to explain the situation.

"Just to let you all know that it wasn't any offer from West Brom for me," he Tweeted.

"I'm happy to stay and fight for my place."

Before posting some pictures on Instagram and then informing fans he would be deleting both of his accounts to concentrate on his football.

"I thought it was good to share with the fans pictures but I think they have been killing me for that.

"Ok, chao (sic) Instagram and Twitter. Focus on football and show myself again."

29-year-old Enrique has started just eight times in the Premier League for Liverpool over the past two years.
