England World Cup winner Gordan Banks has passed away at the age of 81.
Banks made 73 appearances for England, including the successful 1966 final against West Germany, and played predominantly for Leicester City and Stoke City domestically.
In a statement released by Banks' former club Stoke City, they said: "It is with great sadness that we announce that Gordon passed away peacefully overnight.
"We are devastated to lose him but we have so many happy memories and could not have been more proud of him."
