England will come at Wales in massive Euro clash - Crystal Palace forward Williams

Jonny Williams believes England will be absolutely desperate to beat Wales at Euro2016 this week.

The Three Lions had to settle for a 1-1 draw after conceding an injury-time equaliser against Russia on Saturday, after the Welsh had beaten Slovakia 2-1 in the earlier match.

Crystal Palace forward Williams has labelled the meeting between the British nations in Lens on Thursday as one of the biggest matches of his career while suggesting that perhaps Roy Hodgson's men will be in a rampant mood having failed to win their opener.

"We were just leaving and saw that Russia got an equaliser in the last minute and it gave us an extra boost," the 22-year-old said.

"Our phones cut out but when we found out that they drew it ended off a perfect evening for us. I think they will come at us after only getting a point in their opening game.

"They'll be a bit deflated after conceding in the last minute. We're all looking forward to this game now we've got the first one out of the way.

"We can all now focus on probably the biggest game in most of our careers."
